About Aviation Summer Camp

Aviation Summer Camp is a camp established in late 2007 to serve students with an interest in aviation. The founder is a high school and college teacher who has taught for over 17 years. His passion for flying began early but was unrealized for many years. His interest in young people and realization that many students never have the opportunity to experience aviation has led to the creation of this camp and Unique Educational Experiences Inc.

Our camps provide students the opportunity to explore the field of aviation through authentic experiences at the airport. During the flight camps, students receive flight instruction from certified flight instructors and gain a deeper understanding of the field of aviation. Students who opt for our ground camps will have the opportunity to fly various model planes while they develop their aviation knowledge.

This camp will occur at California Flight Center, a well known flight school in Long Beach. The California Flight Center utilizes the newest planes available. Cessna 172’s, 182’s , 206’s and the newest Cessna 400.

Our Ground Camps (Airman and Co-Pilot Ground Camps) will meet in the Millikan high school air conditioned 800 building. Theses camps center on the principles of flight through the creation of different model aircraft.
